- During your first visit to our practice we will make an impression of your teeth, which we will send to the dental technician.
- Based on the impression, the dental technician then makes a whitening tray in the dental laboratory. The whitening tray is therefore tailor-made especially for you, so that it is suitable and will not cause dental problems.
- As soon as the whitening tray has been made, we will inform you and invite you to visit our practice. Our dentist will give you the whitening tray and whitening gel and provide you with the necessary instructions so that you can whiten your teeth at home.
- Once you get home, fill the whitening tray with the whitening gel and then place it over your teeth. Wear the whitening tray at least a few hours every day for the best aesthetic result.
How long does it take to whiten teeth?
How long it takes before you see results may differ per person and depends, among other things, on the degree of discoloration of your teeth and how disciplined you are when it comes to wearing the whitening tray. It usually takes several days to several weeks before you see results.
How long do teeth stay white after teeth whitening?
This can also differ per person and partly depends on the aftercare, your lifestyle and your eating and drinking habits. We recommend that you brush your teeth twice a day to enjoy your white teeth for as long as possible. In addition, we recommend limiting the consumption of coffee, tea and red wine to a minimum.
